Rare Raleigh Restoration LLC is family-owned. We take on work that requires real construction — excavation and footings, structural framing, load-bearing changes, concrete and full mechanical rough-in — not only surfaces and finishes.

The back of the house was transformed in stages across a single year. The roof was stripped and replaced first. The weathered screened porch and timber deck then came off, and a sunroom went up in their place — vaulted, skylit and conditioned, with a bank of windows and French doors onto a rebuilt deck. At grade, a large concrete patio was poured behind a segmental block retaining wall.
Excavation and new footings, a framed rear addition, a load-bearing wall opened up, and a rebuilt kitchen and dining space.
A fully glazed, conditioned sunroom built on a new slab and tied into the existing roofline — framed, insulated, glazed and finished in place.
